National Comprehensive AIDS Program in States

We conducted a programmatic evaluation for the Global Fund for NACA in Abia and Taraba to assess the results achieved and the knowledge gained during the 5-year period and use it to inform the next program strategy. Here, we assessed the changes in the HIV prevalence in the state via the delivery of HTS, PMTCT, and ART by the NCAPS project; identified the factors that facilitated or limited changes; determined to what extent the changes addressed the needs of beneficiaries, states, and countries; measured the impact and outcome indicators; as well as determine the sustainability of the program in the two states.
