Action to Control HIV Epidemic through Evidence (ACHIEVE)

ACHIEVE (Action to Control HIV Epidemic through Evidence) is funded by CDC along with IHVN as lead partners. We are implementing mass community testing among targeted groups in 11 LGAs, using differentiated service models, pre-test and post-test counseling, link positives to care, while ensuring they commence ART treatment, and enhance client retention in these facilities. Our aim is to contribute towards reducing the spread of HIV/AIDS and ensuring that it becomes a more manageable condition enabling people living with HIV to live long and healthy lives. We have tested 959,000 people (70K index cases and 889K voluntary cases), discovering 35,000 positives, and linking 98.12% (34K positives) of the positives to care.
